Ayur-Yoga Therapeutics
Using an Ayurvedic approach to movement we can create balance and harmony in the body and mind. As certain movements promote energy others are more relaxing, each asana pose can stimulate the nervous system, digestive system, state of mind and emotions, as well as subtle energetics.
Using Elemental Theory of Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether, Ayur-Yoga finds the harmony within movements to balance what we are experiencing. Ayur-Yoga can be appropriate for anxiety, stress and insomnia as well as digestive issues, energy, focus and concentration, among many other subtle effects.
Private Classes
With a background of anatomy and alignment in regards to therapeutic movement, Rachael is always happy to break-down poses and teach to your individual needs. Whether you are wanting to strengthen your asana practice, learn a new skill, heal from an injury, target your nervous system or just ask questions private classes are a great opportunity.
